Most years I do several types of Christmas cookies and candies but the one that the kids love the best is the decorated cut out cookies.
I changed it up this year and made gingerbread cookies. The kids really wanted to make a gingerbread house but it is getting difficult to have 5 kids decorating the same tiny house. This was our compromise and I think it went really well.
Everyone had their own bowl of candies and several cookies to decorate. The were very happy to load the cookies up.
Ollie did not help with the decorating. But he did look awfully cute while the rest of the crew was hard at work!
After they decorated the cookies they got to eat one of their creations. This was probably the favorite part of the night!
