We headed to Ecola State Park with the intention of hiking to the Tillamook Lighthouse ViewPoint and then playing on the beach.
We did attempt the hike. It was quite a climb though and very windy. The kids came dressed to play on the beach and were freezing.
And it was foggy. I was sure that I would not be able to see 'Terrible Tilly' through the fog. We ended up turning around about halfway through. Eric's body was not doing great and everyone was whining. Perfect time to turn around in my book.
We headed back to the parking lot and ate our picnic lunch. Then we decided that it was way too cold for the beach and maybe we should just hit up the beach near the conference center. Ollie got a quick nap in the Ergo. He is such a happy boy in that thing!
