It was sandcastle contest day today! The kids have been so excited for this day and ready to tackle the challenge.
In case you are curious, trying to build a sandcastle with a team of toddlers and preschoolers is a lesson in patience for sure.
Reid very diligently tried to help with the castle walls. Although sometimes his enthusiasm resulted in more destruction than assistance.
We went for size this year. Lots of castles and walls to protect the various places. Thankfully the big kids were pretty tolerant of the little ones accidental destruction. You learn a lot of patience when you have younger siblings who want to help.
