Ladybug Girl
Can we just stop time? Gwen is 4 and I want her to wear pigtails every day. Because when she has piggies in her hair she is the poster child for preschool-ness. I love the little girl she is becoming but I miss the sweet toddler she was. This parenting business is bittersweet.

SANTA!
Santa made an appearance at the Christmas party too! The kids were thrilled to see him and everyone was happy to sit with him. Even Reid sat without a fuss. Even though the picture doesn't look like it.
Schultz Family Christmas Party
Headed to Anacortes for the annual Schultz Christmas party this afternoon. The family always does such a nice job of putting together a fun potluck meal and activities for the kiddos.
Of course the Seahawks were playing the 49's today and since Zane is such the huge football fan these days it only took him 20 seconds to figure out which cousin had brought an ipad to stream the game.
The girls made a sea of crafts and the boys ate a truck load of food and cookies. Ollie even got held by a bunch of relatives. He didn't even cry!
There was a raffle for the kids. We didn't win any of the prizes this year.
And the cousins were given these adorable squirrel feeders from one of the uncles.
It was a great party!
Oliver Benjamin:7 Months Old
Oliver is 7 months old today. He is growing so fast and changing so much. He is a hungry little monkey and is making me exhausted with the constant all night long nursing. I think maybe he is getting some teeth. Or maybe he just loves me lots and needs to see me in the middle of the night. The kids discovered that they can stand him next to the couch and he will be able to stay upright for a few seconds. Somehow I think that Ollie is going to be encouraged to walk by some of the shorter members of the household. And it is going to happen much earlier than I want it to!

Frozen!
We don't make it to the movies as a family very often but this year's Disney movie Frozen was a must see in my book. Two princesses that are sisters? Sounds just like two certain little girls at my house. We headed off for the first showing of the day and it was so much fun! I was worried about Reid's attention span while the movie was playing but he did great. We bought popcorn, that helped. I can't wait to see what other movies we fit in to this gap of time with Ollie too little to be rascally and Reid finally able to sit through a movie.

Zane's Concert
Zane had his second grade concert and it was super cute! They sang 5 songs that were holiday and they sounded very nice.
I took the opportunity to get close and get a picture of him while the rest of the kiddos were getting on stage. He sang great! Can't wait to hear Andrew too later this year.
Mother Knows Best
Gwen loves to feed Ollie. She often volunteers to help with that task and since spoon feeding babies is not my favorite I often let her. Tonight as she was feeding him I heard her say, "Just a minute now Ollie. Mother knows best." I know she got the phrase from Tangled but it cracks me up every time she says it. She is very much a little momma.
