Nothing says New Year's Eve party like dressing like a Quaker right? But she is the cutest one there ever was!

Ducky Love

I got this duck as a baby shower present for Gwen. But it has been a hit with every baby since her! Something about the vinyl or the yellow or the feel. I don't know what but they all adore it. Oliver will squeal when he sees it. Mr. Ducky has had a lot of baby drooling love over the years!

Christmas!

 Just some pictures of our morning madness! I took pictures during the stockings being opened and then I put the camera down. I want to remember these moments in real time, not through the lens of a camera.

Christmas Eve Work

We host Christmas dinner each year and usually Christmas Eve is spent making a ton of food. Pies in particular. This year we made an oreo pie and an apple pie and the boys were a lot of help!

I put Andrew and Zane to work scraping the centers out of the oreo cookies and then we got Reid to help crush them with a spoon. After that work was done, Andrew helped me peel apples for the pie. I have to admit that he was a HUGE help. Peeling and slicing 8 apples takes some time and he made it go so much faster with his help. Love my big helpers!

Melt My Mama Heart

Just a normal morning. The kids were all ready for church. They had eaten breakfast and were watching some cartoons before we needed to leave the house. And then I look over and see this. They love each other. They truly do. It makes my heart so incredibly glad.

Standing?

 So Ollie is good on his feet. He loves to be up and the kids, especially Zane, love to put him up and let him stand. I am usually a nervous wreck but Zane is pretty good about not letting him fall. Tonight I caught it on camera. This kid is going to be walking long before I am ready! He has a lot of tall people to keep up with don't you know.

A Little Christmas Celebration

The last few years Uncle Reece has had to work on Christmas night so we have found a different time to get together with them and celebrate.

It was a great day of presents and food and fun!

 Rory warmed right up to the kids and jumped into the chaos of play and had a great time! The kids all had a great time playing with him too.

 The girls got to do some new crafting stuff. I convinced Gwen to make matching jewelry for her outfit tomorrow. I am excited to see how it turns out.

Ollie got a cute cow toy to play with and he seemed to love it. He also really loved the wrapping paper and the box. He isn't quite discerning yet.

 It was fun to see Rory with Ollie. Very soon Rory is going to get a new little brother and it was cute to see him practice the big brother role.
