Well it appears it is a week of Lucy posts! Last night Miss Lucy took two steps to walk to her daddy. He was tempting her with a brownie. I guess it just goes to show that she is definitely a member of our household. We are all easily swayed by the sight of food. Anyway, I know that we will be in trouble in the next few weeks for sure. She is destined to be mobile before her first birthday guaranteed!

Go Lucy! I knew you could do it! And I am motivated by chocolate also, so I can understand this. :)I was wondering how you are keeping her out of your tree? Or maybe it isn't an issue? Kenzie wasn't too hard but the boys have been and Gabe loves the tree and everything on it! I am glad we waited until yesterday to decorate it.

She is mostly staying out of the tree. We put bells on the bottom of it to let us know if anyone is in it. However she seems to like to take the bells (no other ornaments) off and shake them. It is a dead giveaway and we can race to the tree. Also we used fishing line to "tie" the tree to the curtain rod so I am not too worried about her pulling it over. And since the line is almost invisible it avoids the obvious "white trash" appearance.
Go Lucy! How is the sleeping going? I made sure this year that I got a pokey tree so Will doesn't enjoy touching it. I LOVE the bell idea!
