I know the photo is kinda dark but Alice is on the left then me and Gwen and then my mom.
Gwen got lots of neat stuff and some diapers. This is the quilt that Alice made for Gwen. My mom made a blanket too and gave it to me at the hospital. It is so cool that my kids have crafty grandmas!

So fun! Gwen looks so much bigger, in just 2 weeks! I can't believe how long your hair is too! Did you get lots of practical stuff, like diapers? By the way, when does school start?
Lots of diapers which was nice. My hair is long and I keep putting it up in a ponytail so no one ever sees it. Soon it will be time to cut and donate again. School is supposed to start for us on the 8th but I am hearing rumors of a strike so I honestly don't know when it will actually start. I am hoping on the 8th though. Andrew is getting bored and Zane could really use some dedicated mommy time.
I don't get teacher strikes...occasionally you hear of nurses striking and I think that is just unacceptable. We chose professions where we need to be dedicated to those we serve and be willing to negotiate as needed, but I would never strike. My patients come first and so should the kids! I hope he gets to go back soon, I want to see first day of school pictures!
