I can't believe how big Miss Gwen is! She looks like such a chunk! Love it. Lucy is such a Ham too, I love her goofy little expressions. By the way, when do you start potty training a boy?
When they don't fight it at all and they are telling you that they are peeing or pooping as they do it. If they fight you on sitting on the potty AT ALL it is too early. Andrew was about 2 and a half. Zane was 3 and 3 months. Totally varies on each kid. It is a million times easier if you let them set the schedule too. Resign yourself to changing diapers until they are 5 and then you will just be pleasantly surprised when they do it earlier than that :)
I am guessing you think Will is ready? Or are you just done with diapers?
Well, he seems done with diapers. He whips 'em off in seconds anytime my back is turned. I keep cleaning up puddles and redressing him, but I was thinking it would be much easier if he was potty trained and then I could just let him be naked as much as he likes! However, I don't think he is ready, he loves the potty and loves flushing the toilet, but that's about it. He says peepee and poopoo some times when he is doing it, but not all the time. I think I will just put him in more onesies and make him stay in diapers till he is at least 2 or 2 and 1/2. When do you think Lucy will be ready? Is peer pressure doing anything with her? Does she watch you or the boys go potty?
Peer pressure really does nothing with her. She likes to stand at the potty and thrust her hips out at it like the boys do. I see many puddles in my future. Have you tried putting big boy underwear on over the diapers. Sometimes that will keep them from ripping the diapers off too. Onesies may be your lot until he is really ready though. And it is tough to find them bigger than 24 months. Lucy will probably be ready when she is 3. She shows no interest and she is crazy stubborn with things she doesn't want to do.
Molly found me some in England that go up to 3T, so he is stuck in those for a while. I may try the undies over diaper thing too. I think it's cute that she tries to peepee like a big boy! Girls are supposed to be easier, maybe Gwen will be faster since she will have Lucy!
