Soccer Superstars

This weekend Andrew had another soccer practice/game. He is having a lot of fun and his team won yet again! Andrew scored another goal and was very proud of himself. It is so cute to watch them play. Just a huge mob around the ball all the time. There is no strategy and you end up cheering the whole time regardless of who seems in control of the ball. Super cute!

Oh, and I brought snacks this week but did not bring orange slices. According to Teresa I only reach soccer mom status when I bring those :)

Edit the soccer ball in the pic with Andrew! It has something you don't want people to have on it!

Thanks so much! I didn't even think about it!

I had no idea what you meant, I thought that a very irresponsible coach had a dirty word on it or something... Hah! I will take this opprotunity however to proclaim my Love for Joe, and O.

I actually just deleted the picture. Who are Joe and O?

Doesn't the ball in front of his foot say Biden on the side? I am really confused now, which is nothing new.... Joe Biden and Obama. I thought Teresa was being political. Sorry, it's on the brain this time of year! What was the original thing then?

LOL No! I originally had two pictures on the blog and one had our phone # and last name. Eric wrote it on the ball so we would know whose it was and I posted the picture without even thinking about it. No political agenda intended!

Hilarious! I wouldn't want that kind of info out there either!

I love rockets soccer. It is so cute and they all have a great time. In four years of rockets no one ever brought oranges since there isn't much or a sweat for most kids or a real half-time. Kenzie now has a half-time break where many of the moms have been bringing oranges when it is their snack time. I felt like a real loser because I forgot during our tournament to bring oranges. One mom brought watermelon which was also a hit! Next time I've got to remember the oranges... especially important on a hot day. It would be fun to see Andrew play, our Saturdays are busy with football and soccer but if it ever worked out it would be cool to cheer him on. I imagine he has got a whole fan club on the field (grandparents, etc). I am glad to hear he is enjoying himself!

You will seal your fate as a soccer mom with the orange slices. I think it is funny that when I looked it up on Wikipedia it actually had a definition. No mention of the orange slices. That was Teresa's input. And with all the time I know she hung out on the soccer field as a kid, she has to be an expert!
